group or organization, there must always be some benefit
or advantage to joining. The Hatfield Business
Association (HBA) recognizes this, and we are pleased to
be able to offer you three major advantages as a member. |

Wouldn't it be nice to
have a place where local residents could find your
business without having to search through a phone book
or huge internet directories? The Business
Directory on
Hatfieldbusiness.org offers just that! We
offer three options:
1) A free directory listing similar to a phone book listing.
2) A directory listing as well as a link to your existing
website.
3) A hosted webpage (1 page) that provides you an online
"storefront."
With the internet becoming an extremely powerful
marketing tool, we want to provide you with an
opportunity to have an online presence and get
recognized by local consumers. Our online business
directory will provide you with this opportunity! |

| As business owners
(especially small business owners) have known for many
years, networking and affiliation play a major role in
the success of any business. Whether you are
looking for a complimentary business to partner with, a
supplier or service provider to aid your business, or a
way to add credibility with your customers, being a part
of a strong networking group like a Business Association
or Chamber of Commerce can help in many ways. We
are proud to be able to offer business owners a list of
other local businesses in a variety of industries, as
well as with numerous other resources related to
business networking and affiliation. |

| Social
Responsibility |
| Perhaps the area that
the HBA is known best for is our sponsorship of the
annual Hatfield Luminarium each December. In
addition to the Luminarium, we also annually present all
Hatfield school students with Dictionaries upon their
completion of 6th Grade. We have also provided
funding for other community events or causes, such as
the Fire Department's Jaws-of-Life a few years ago.
As a member of the HBA,
you will have the opportunity to be a part these
community causes, as well as recommend any other
activities/causes you would like to see us help out
with. In a small community like Hatfield, little
actions by many individuals can make a major difference,
and we are proud to be able to take part in these
socially responsible activities and practices. |
